The range light is a fiberglass cylindrical tower painted red with a broad white horizontal band. It has an upper red portion. It is on private property. The original Georgetown Front Range Light has been inactive since 1969 and is now a private residence.

The Georgetown Range Lights aided in the development of the fishing industry in and around Georgetown Harbour.
