This is one of two concrete light structures on PEI. It is built in the apple–core style, similar to Cape Forchu, Nova Scotia. It has a spiral staircase. It has four tall slim windows on one side and a red stripe day-mark extending from the top down one third on the seaward side. There is a railing around the top of the tower. The lighthouse does not have a lantern. The light shows from a window on the seaward side. It was built by Williams, Murphy and MacLeod. It is on private property in a residential area.
