The school was founded in 1974 by the State of Bavaria and is celebrating its 25th anniversary in 1999. It is located in the District Town of Aichach and funded by the District of Aichach-Friedberg. The Deutschherren-Gymnasium, which has 60 teachers and is presently attended by approximately 700 students, offers programs in modern languages and in math and science. A special highlight of the school's activities is a weather-station with a receiver for weather satellite images, which has been operated by students for more than 10 years. Since the beginning, the school has been led by principal Adolf Lang. |
The author of the project: Assistant master Adalbert Niedenzu has been with the Deutschherren-Gymnasium since 1990 and teaches the subjects mathematics, geography and computer science. Furthermore, he is in charge of the school network and of preparing the class schedule. |
