Newfoundland Railway Conductor:

This is the uniform of a Newfoundland Railway Conductor, c. 1942. The conductor had the general charge of a train, as well as responsibility for its safety and the safety of passengers. A conductor was assisted by two trainmen or brakemen, whose uniforms were the same.
