Dockyard tools in a wooden tool box
This collection of tools is from the St. John's Dockyard and was used by the riveters. Riveters played a vital role in shipbuilding and repair in the 19th and early 20th century. These tools were kept in the wooden tool box which also served as stool. Railway Coastal Museum. 2006.001.13-1-9
