Steam Engine Brass Plate
This brass plate came from Steam Engine 113, Newfoundland Railway, one of ten built at the St. John's Dockyard Machine Shops by the Engineers & Boilermakers #8. The plate, dated September 1913, was found in 1977 by Bill Roach and Bill Baggs in a bog hole at Ocean Pond, mile 49.1, St. John's subdivision. Railway Coastal Museum. 2007.008.001
