The S.S. Home, built in 1900, was well-loved by Labradorians and the Newfoundland families who spent their summers fishing in Labrador, particularly before the S.S. Kyle became legendary on the run. She was lost in 1952 in Fortune Bay. A.R. Penney Collection.
