Michener House Museum
Lacombe , Alberta

Birthplace of Roland Michener. Houses artifacts appropriate to the period (1900) and also some later items. Has many items donated by the Michener family that belonged to Roland such as medals, jogging suit, etc. Has small upstairs gallery of changing exhibits. Houses extensive pictoral and other archives in climate controlled basement.

Walking Tours of Historic Downtown Lacombe (May - Oct.), Pancake Breakfast/Garage Sale (July) Museum Tours (May - Oct. and by appointment)
Open: Michener House Musuem is open from 9:00am to 5:00pm from Tuesday to Saturday. The Interpretive Centre is open 9:00am to 5:00pm from Monday to Saturday. The Blacksmith Shop is open by appointment.
Closed: • Mondays  • Sundays 
End of October to mid May.
