As the guardian of the Capital on behalf of all Canadians, the NCC organizes large-scale events such as Winterlude and Canada Day celebrations and is responsible for national commemorations and a great variety of educational programming. The NCC also takes great pride in developing and planning a national capital that will be recognized by Canadians as a unique environment, a place of history and heritage, a destination, a special site of celebration and commemoration.
