Royal wall hanging

This wall hanging shows a pineapple (symbol of King Agonglo, 1789-1797), a sword, a victorious Fon warrior on a hill and enemies in chains. It portrays the power and victories of King Agonglo. The king's motto is, "I am the pineapple against which the royal thunderbolt is powerless".
