wonderful history of
Redwater and this book has
been an inspiration to us in
telling this story. Aubrey
Kerr, author of "Redwater"
also provided us with a vast
resource of information

surrounding the oil boom.
   Lastly, we would like to
thank the Canadian Heritage
Information Network for the
opportunity to tell the story
of the 1948 Redwater oil
boom. This project has
allowed us the opportunity to
gain a deeper insight into
the oil boom days. It has

captured the imagination and
memories of those who
