Asahi "Juniors"

The club's feeder system of youth teams had several levels over the years. In 1923 there was the shigun (fourth level) team of youngsters aged nine to eleven, known as the Clovers, sangun (third level) aged twelve to fourteen, known as the Beavers, and nigun (second level) aged fourteen and over, known as the Athletics or simply as nigun.
