Disbanding

Compulsory registration

From March to August 1941, everyone over 16 years old of Japanese descent was registered by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. That season in the Burrard League semi-finals, the Asahis lost the series, though the newspaper wrote they "outhit, outfielded, outran, and generally outplayed the favored Angels."
