The United Church Hall on Park Street was opened in March 1925 and it was used for worship until the present Church building was constructed. The cornerstone of this Church was laid in June, 1941, and was chosen from the structure of the little white Presbyterian Church, formerly on Fisher's Hill. The church was dedicated on Sunday, September 8th, 1946.
The simplicity of its architecture makes it strikingly beautiful and it is one of the most recognizable of the City's landmarks.
