As the harbour changed, so did the boats. The following slides will show you what the boats looked like in the 1920s and 1930s and various pieces of equipment that the boats held. Gone were the days of the regal three and four masters although one or two might be seen coming into the harbour with a load of salt for the salt fish industry.
Each slide that features fishing equipment has explanations about the equipment and perhaps a "hot spot" or two to name individual items within the one piece of equipment.
