Once the excess material is removed from the field jacket and the fossil has been prepared, it is put into a display or housed in the museums collections room.The Canadian Fossil Discovery Centre (formerly the Morden and District Museum) has acquired a mounted mosasaur... the largest in Canada. The original material for the mount is from the Pembina Hills and belongs to the museum.

The collecting of fossils still continues today but at a slower pace, without the aid of a bulldozer and Mr. Roy Friesen. Mr. Friesen helped locate 95% of the fossil material in the Canadian Fossil Discovery Centre (formerly the Morden and District Museum). |
