Cambrian Players takes pride in putting in the favoured classics as well as running original productions from local talents. They are not afraid to take on the controversial topics as seen in one of the current productions titled The Laramie Project, a play by Moises Kaufman and the members of Tectonic Theater Project.

"In the Fall of 1998, a young gay man was discovered tied to a fence in the hills outside Laramie, Wyoming, savagely beaten and left to die. This act of brutality came as a shock to the world. The Laramie Project is a play about the townspeople in Laramie, and how they reacted to that event."

Cambrian Players is one of the highlights in the artistic community in Northern Ontario and deserves a special acknowledgment as a group dedicated to the full enjoyment of performance and creation through theatre.
