As the 20th century approached, the Frost & Wood Company was thriving. Production, demand, and income steadily increased, allowing the company to expand its Chambers Street location. Many new buildings were constructed on site and additions were added to existing buildings.

In addition to employing a large population of Smiths Falls, Frost & Wood also employed over 350 agents at various company agencies throughout the country. The company's annual production was also valued at $150,000, while the annual production of competitor, Massey-Harris, was $100,000.

Production at the Frost & Wood factory was also reaching record highs. In 1893, the factory used 2400 tons different types of iron, 1200 tons of steel, as well as lumber, paint, oil, and various other types of metals needed to manufacture farm implements.
