local school children and the
newcomers, the oil boom of
1948 would leave an indelible
mark on many people.
   This year, 2008, signals
the 60th. Anniversary of the
1948 boom, and The Redwater
Museum would like to present
this Community Memories

Project as a tribute to our
oil history.
