Treasures from Trunks: The Story of the Dugald Ladies Fashion Review

"As the 'fashion reviews' became more popular, they required an almost full-time commitment by review members. It was decided to create an entity completely separate from the DWI [Dugald Women's Institute] in 1959. The new group was called the Dugald Ladies Fashion Review."

A decision was taken that members would contribute their share of Fashion Review proceeds to their church or another charity of their choice.

"In that way the church had needed repair work done and a new organ was purchased. The Senior Citizen's Home received a piano and there were other gifts."
