Treasures from Trunks: The Story of the Dugald Ladies Fashion Review

«From the beginning Wyn and I had worked closely together, so at this point I was practically living [with her]. There was such a lot of research to do. We were reading everything on fashions, discussing costumes, deciding dates, and commentaries and I was writing notes, which I took home for writing and rewriting at night. We wanted to be as accurate as possible so we took our lunch and spent two days at the Winnipeg Public Library, reading and making notes to which we often referred.»
