Transition Years

With the war in Europe finally over, many industries began to make the transition back to normalcy. Companies like General Motors moved back to manufacturing civilian cars instead of military vehicles. Many women returned to their homes making room for the returning men in the factories. Some women remained in the work force and began the working women trend which has now become common.
