Interview with Llewellyn Smith - Llewellyn Explains how E.D. Smith's Shipped their Food Products

Going out the door the finished product were all shelf stable, we didn't have any refrigerated or frozen products, so what that meant is that we were able to ship by truck and by rail car. In Canada all of our shipments out west went by rail car as well as to Newfoundland in the east, and the Ontario and Quebec market was serviced by truck. We had customers in the United States, in Texas and California, in Washington State as well as the eastern seaboard, and all of that was sent by truck.
