In the first and second years of secondary school, we studied the Old and New Testaments. Then in the third year, courses start to focus more on personal development. For example, I'm in my senior year now, and we're studying sects and other religions. This approach gives us a chance to find answers that our own religion doesn't necessarily provide. Even though CMI is a Catholic school, we learn about other religions so that we can make our own choices. At CMI, it's important to become enlightened women with an open-minded view of the world.
