On the feast of Saint Angela or the Immaculate Conception, the boarders were treated to a special snack - vanilla cakes with a delicious homemade icing. These cakes were fantastic, they were very, very good. We enjoyed them enormously because these were the only two times during the year when we got to eat something different.
