When I was a boarder, I stayed in the new part of the college. In our last year of secondary school, we were entitled to a private room. I was the one who wanted to be a boarder, so I was ecstatic. I just loved being there. At the time, we had the right to watch television once a week. We used to watch 'Rue des pignons.' The worst punishment a boarder could receive was to be denied permission to watch this show. We would all put our pyjamas on and have a snack before the show started. This way, we were ready for bed as soon as it was over.
