TRANSCRIPT

We used to hurry through lunch so we could begin activities. We weren't allowed to leave until everyone was finished and the dishes were done. So a lot of times we'd get annoyed at girls who dawdled at the table. 'Come on, hurry up!', we'd tell them. There were several activities to enjoy after lunch. Often we'd go play outside, too. In fact, we were obliged to go out during recess. We weren't allowed to stay indoors.
