Students became involved in school life through the many small events that went on during the year. They could, for example, join the reception committee, class councils, the Key Club or the environment committee. Or they could participate in noontime activities or the Christmas charity, or become a member of the highly popular basketball team. A commitment to student life was an important part of girls' education for life.
