TRANSCRIPT

Since I was in charge of student life, my relations with the students were more relaxed. But I still had to enforce the rules and sometimes mete out punishment. I always tried to be firm and, at the same time, fair and attentive. Apart from discipline, I maintained a very different type of relationship with the students in terms of assisting and supervising committees. This was a more flexible framework. I also used to meet with individual students for talks. They confided in me, told me their secrets, their problems with teachers and parents. I listened, encouraged them and tried to give good advice
