I feel we were privileged to receive such a thorough education. By the time we graduated from CMI, we had touched upon just about everything. Mother Saint-Luc taught us drawing. The nuns also taught us how to sew. In a way, we learned the basics of living. I know kids today would say, 'They taught you to become housewives.' But I think it went beyond that, because the Ursulines were very progressive in their way of thinking.
