TRANSCRIPT

'Tryn: We arrived at my Mom and Dad's. That afternoon, right after lunch the farmer came and picked you up (Abe: Ja. Ja. Already!) And then he went with the farmer. I stayed with Mom and Dad until Sunday. And he said ‘You had better come, cause the house is really dirty.' And I started cleaning and then a week later we had our belongings. (Abe: Yup. And we had the house already cleaned up.) We were in January he said, ‘I have no work for you any more.' So, my dad and two brothers did not have work either. The farmers did not keep their commitment (Abe: Keep their promise) So, my brothers and he went back north to Cochran to cut wood to the lumber camp. And they were there from the middle of January, or the late part of January, to the middle of April and then they came home.'
