Mabel: I used to help Eva a bit in the winter when Verna and Lloyd were babies. I kept house for Willy I think, six weeks maybe, in [19]15 when Aunt Edna had typhoid fever.
Donna: How many children would they have had by then?
Mabel Watson: Maybe four.
Ron: Who was it you said had typhoid fever?
Mabel: Aunt Edna, Willy's wife, had typhoid fever in the fall of 1915.
Ron: And that was a pretty serious sickness?
Mabel: Yes, she had the nurse with her all the time.
