NHL players coming back to Kirkland Lake

The spirit was in Kirkland Lake...you look at the guys that come out of Kirkland Lake before us, and these guys came back to Kirkland Lake all the time, and you know, you could see the Hillmans, and the Backstroms, and the Duffs and the Lindsays and you just...you want to be them...and I think they came back and give so much back, too, in the summertime. Like I can remember Larry [Hillman] playing with the Toronto Maple Leafs, and I'm playing ball with him in the summer, you know? They never forgot, those guys never forgot where they came from, and come back. This was Kirkland Lake, this was...I think it was "Hockey Lake", I don't know if it was Kirkland Lake...come from Kirkland Lake, everybody knew you played hockey.
