"Happyland Park, built in 1908, located on Portage Avenue West at Greenwood Place, only had a couple of rides that I can remember. These were the 'Old Mill', boats travelling through dark places with lights coming on showing off flowers etc., this really was a 'Lovers Delight Ride.' Then there was a miniature train, owned and operated by Ernie Burrows (who I worked for in show business in later years and whose little train was bought by me later). They had a sideshow called 'The Great Johnstown Flood' and also a 'Penny Arcade'. The main attraction at Happyland Park was the baseball games."
