E. J. Casey: From Soldier to Showman

TRANSCRIPT

"We tried to bring out a good clean show each spring; quite a few people would visit us to see what was coming out new. With our travelling shows now we had wild animal shows and the "Fat Girl" sideshow as well as "Tattooed Man." "The "Horned Devil Snake" was just an ordinary large size rattle snake, with a rooster's spur grafted on his head; people would stand and wonder over anything unusual. I believe that I tried them all except dancing girls."
