The most well known steamboat of The Pas Lumber Company was the David N. Winton. The David N. Winton, named for one of the owners of The Pas Lumber Company, was built in 1920. It was used for over thirty years to transport log rafts down the Carrot River to The Pas Lumber Company mill on the Saskatchewan River just east of The Pas. It was sunk in 1954 by the action of ice breaking up in the spring.

Other steamboats owned by The Pas Lumber Company included the C. R. Smith (built 1912, originally owned by Finger Lumber Company), the Alice Mattes and the Jack Winton.
