George Brown at work in his shop in Deep River Ontario.George Brown was born in North Eastern England and emigrated to the Mines of Noranda P.Q. in 1953. In 1956 he moved to Deep River Ontario, working in the CRNL , NRU Reactor at Chalk River.
In 1984, while holidaying in Florida George attended some local woodcarving lessons and thus began a passion which has endured for the past 23 years. Carving solely for his own enjoyment he has given many carvings to friends and family
