In 2004 the building was purchased by the St. George's Heritage Committee and is now used as a museum and concert centre for Newfoundland and Labrador performers.
The funds to purchase were raised by donations from individuals and from the sale of 100 lithographs of St. George's Church created by Newfoundland artist, Gerry Squires.

Newfoundland and Labrador artist Boyd Chubbs created a spectacular illumination of "The Design of God's Place" by Shane O'Dea. Smaller prints were made of the original and are available for purchase.
