of cadets have enjoyed summer fun here and have attended numerous courses offered by the Air Cadet League of Canada. The final reward at the end of the cadet year is to attend "camp".

Camp food was great and there was usually lots of it. Milk and juice was plentiful and you could have as much as you wanted. The former were served from large coolers and tasted great after a hard day's training. The only complaint cadets had was about the fried eggs at breakfast. Most cadets thought they were about to hatch on the plate, therefore opted for the boiled eggs instead. However, all meals were looked forward to with anticipation.
