Here are some street scenes around early Mirror.

Mirror officially became a registered Village on July 27, 1912.

A town council was duly elected, holding it's first meeting in the office of the Transcontinental Townsite Company. on August 8, 1812 for the purpose of organization.

Present were J.F. Flewwelling, Mr. Herniman and Mr. Raymer. The first motion was made by Mr. Flewwelling, that Mr. Raymer be Chairman of the Council. The minutes were signed by Mr. Calvert, later appointed Secretary-Treasurer.

No town was built as yet, only the mapping out of the town lots.

This scene was probably just prior to the auctioning of the town lots, and this temporary building could be one of the ones put up by someone expecting to buy a lot, and move or build a more permanent business or home on it.

Both banks and store owners set up such temporary buildings in Mirror, prior to the sale.
