Haida Homeland
Haida Gwaii, Xaadaa Gwaay, is made up of over 150 small islands, which expand over 200 kilometres from tip to tip. Haida Gwaii is the most northern island in British Columbia and it is very close to Alaska where many Haidas live today. The beautiful islands are famous for the sandy and rocky beaches and a modest old-growth forest.
