Toronto's "Little Greece" had developed in the 1960s along the Danforth, bringing with it the traditions and foods of the Mediterranean. The opening of the Bloor-Danforth Subway line brought even more change to the neighbourhood. The area flourished with new residential developments.

Today, GreekTown on the Danforth is a vibrant, dynamic community that attracts tourists and residents alike.
