During both of the World Wars, the war effort was financed in large part by the citizens of Canada who were barraged with propaganda urging them to buy Victory Bonds. Without these loans from ordinary citizens, Canada's war effort would not have been nearly as successful. In particular, the people of Innisfail were always sure to do their part in helping out the nation and donating their money toward financing the war. The following are some ads printed in the local paper urging the community to do its best to support its nation in its time of need.
