Hockey was a great winter pass time as it was a time of year when the farm boys did not have as many chores to do. Generally the milk cows were dried up in the fall and no milk would be produced until they started freshening again the following spring. Every community had there own team who would travel the area to play against other community teams, usually on outdoor rinks.

- they were Champions of the Osgoode Township Hockey League for 1925/26, 1926/27 and 1927/27

- ther were also Champions of the Russell County Hockey League for 1927/27
