The Sunnybrook Chapel was completed in 1950: a dedication ceremony took place on Sunday, November 12, attended by Padre William Surman (Baptist Church), John Y. Fraser (Presbyterian Church), Padre E.A.H. Clifford (Church of England) and Padre W.W. Burnett, (United Church). The largest room was used for both Roman Catholic mass and Protestant Interdenominational service.

A synagogue was built to accommodate Jewish veterans and patients in 1995.

In 1998, a washing station and prayer room were built for the use of Muslim staff.
