The Nor' West Farmer magazine published in 1911 contained interesting advertisements. Steam engines, gas tractors, threshing machines, wagons and sleighs were offered for sale. Also, an advertisement suggesting a great crop of wheat could be grown in the region was included to entice people to come to western Canada, settle and take up farming.
