As a company, Frost & Wood always had strong ties to the community. Even before the centennial celebrations, the Frost family was quite active within their home town. The company often sponsored dinners, talks, and sports teams and even donated farm machinery as prizes to local charity drives as well.

Visitors to Smiths Falls were also invited to stop by the factory and pick up a complimentary pamphlet to lead them around the plant. The pamphlet acted as a self-guided tour and explained the various departments as the visitor went along.
