The (W.L.) Leonard Gray farm across the road from the west edge of what is now Moonen Heights. Part of the road that is Highway 616 today (2004) can be seen to the far right of the house. Leonard Gray bought the farm from a Mr. Bean in the early 1900's. The barn was built in 1916 and the house ca 1919. Previous to living on this farm, the Gray family had lived on their homestead about five miles southwest of what was then the Village of Millet.Moonen Heights of today is located on other land owned originally by Leonard Gray.
