There were many fun activities throughout the weekend including horse drawn wagon rides, skits by the Boom Town Players, and a cross cut saw. There was also a display of tools that had been used in the 1890's oil boom and of scrapbooks, models and information. Tours of the powerhouse were conducted and there were food vendors present.

A lot of people put a lot of hard work and dedication into fixing up the powerhouse and opening it as a museum. Their time and effort was not wasted and the Oil Museum truly is an asset to the town of Bothwell.
