(July 19, 2000) -- John Deere today announced its well-known leaping deer trademark has been updated to appear stronger and more dynamic with a greater emphasis placed on the John Deere name. It is the first change to the John Deere trademark in 32 years and only the eighth John Deere trademark since the company was founded in 1837.
